The product name is called Solid Surface because it is “solid”, which means its entire body, from the top to the bottom is with the same content. Furthermore, Solid also means it is non-porous. Not like Cultured Marble which has a thin gel coat on the top but calcium powder underneath it. It was designed for counter top, and gradually the use spreads to vertical application such as shower walls, toilet partitions and facade decoration.
